About Our Club

Istanbul Barbaros Metropolitan Rotary Club received a charter by Rotary International on November 25, 2021 as part of the District 2420.

Since 1905, "Rotary" has expanded in waves and produced worldwide projects for societies in the fields of health, education, peace, environment, economic development, clean water and hygiene and also in the leadership development of youth. Operating from neighborhood to neighborhood in all countries of the world, and set an example for Non-Governmental Organizations. It is the largest Non-Governmental Organization that has a seat in the United Nations.

Our club was founded with 21 Rotarian members who wish to serve the society including members with high Rotary experience who have served the society in many areas for years. The purpose of its establishment is primarily to raise awareness and contribute to community service issues in and around Batı Ataşehir Barbaros Neighborhood; It is the excitement of being together to touch people with community-oriented projects and collaborations. Based on the ideal of service and consisting of active members, Rotary Club of Istanbul Barbaros Metropolitan was established to serve its country and society within the Rotary network.
